Templar's Path
Templar
The estate's woods are crossed by the Via Francigena. A leap into the past. Walk on the paths traveled by pilgrims from Provence who stopped at the Abbey of San Bernardo della Colomba on their way to Rome or the Holy Land.
The Templars were an order of warrior monks founded by Hughes de Payens, a nephew of the Order of Templars' spiritual father, Bernard of Clairvaux, with the mandate to protect pilgrims.
Pausing in a location steeped with history and mystery is a highly emotional experience.
